What's New
September 2006

Hey there, JWB fans!

As you can see, there has not been too much JWB news lately.  However, there has been plenty brewing beneath the surface, so, I'll let you in on some of the things I have been working on.

I have started Studio Variant, a private, full service, professional digital recording studio in my home in the University District of Seattle.  Capable of any kind of small project needs, this studio combines a comfortable atmosphere with the necessary tools to get a professional sounding project. Plus, the studio is within walking distance to parks, water and plenty of shopping. I have launched a website at StudioVariant.com, and I encourage you to take a look, listen to some clips and check back often for updates. As well, if you know of any bands or potential clients that are in need of a professional sounding disc at a competitive price, let them know about Studio Variant! They can contact me through StudioVariant.com or via the Contact Page here at JoshWilliamson.com.

On a different note, the JWB is currently looking for a new drummer. We sadly had to say goodbye to Matt Bos, who has been with us for just under two years. Good luck, Matt, on your other projects! We are starting the audition process and will most likely be back to gigging next month.

I am also finalizing the material for the next album, and creating some demos for all the songs at Studio Variant. Once I'm comfortable with all the song arrangements, it will be time to decide where and when the next album will be recorded. Until then, keep checking in for more details.

Thanks to Jim Hilmar and KSER for spinning No Shelter on the "Fretting Fingers" program, last Saturday.  Keep listening to 90.7FM to hear more JWB music.

That's about all for now. We'll see you later this summer with new shows and new music.

See you at the show!
